We always recommend three points of temperature reference for incubation, and these Bel-Art thermometers provide accuracy that you can rely on. Most inexpensive thermometers have a temperature resolution of, at best, 1°, and an accuracy of +/- .5°. These Bel-Art thermometers provide much higher accuracy, and resolution, with a readable design that just happens to fit perfectly in a Grumbach Incubator. They even fit in the Grumbach capillary thermometer bracket (sold separately). When running two shelves in the Grumbach S84 incubator, you can mount this thermometer beneath the second shelf. Works perfectly. When not in use should be stored bulb-down to prevent separation of spirit-column. With proper care, will last for years.
