For use on stainless steel open wire ring bands up to size 12 (9.53 mm or .375 inch id, USGS size 6, SS band thickness +- 2.8 mm), or aluminum closed bands. Only suitable for bands that are either round or rectangular in cross section. For standard aluminum thin walled bands use our V-notched cutters, or something similar. Made of high-quality carbon steel for long life. Keep oiled. Approximately 8 inches in length. Blunt profile affords safe and easy manipulation, and efficient application of force.
